Before the Puppy Comes Home    

✓ Put all poisons (cleaners, paints and disinfectants) away in a place that the dog would not go into.

✓Place hazards out of reach. 

✓All sharp objects should be put out of reach such as broken glass and nails.

✓Electrical wires are very dangerous and could lead to death if chewed, so all should be put high out of reach.

Lifting and carrying a golden

It is important for everyone to learn to lift and carry your golden puppy. Incorrect handling can cause pain and even injury.

✓Put one hand under the pup's chest and with your other hand support the rear and the back legs
